Dear Mr. Ewing:
Miss Jane Addams, President of the Board of Trustees of Hull House Association, incorporated, has sent me your letter of 25 October, 1920, in re bequest of Martha E. French to Hull House, and has asked me to reply to same.
In behalf of the Trustees of Hull House Association, I beg to advise you that Hull House will accept the half portion of residuary estate bequeathed to Hull House in the will of Miss French of date 23 September, 1915, and will use such portion for the purposes set forth in the articles of incorporation of Hull House.
