THE NEW YORK GLOBE (June 5, 1920)

"The stupidity of the Allies has thus far condemned Russia to misery, starved hundreds of thousands to death, and allowed a typhus epidemic to grow to proportions which threaten all Europe; and stupidity is still in the saddle, though there are signs that it may presently be unseated. Whatever contributes to a better understanding among common people of what governments have done, and why they did it, is therefore useful. To that end, this collection of documents...is a powerful and valuable contribution."
