Dear Miss [Addams]:--
Just noticed in our mornings' paper where you advocate putting in a plank in the Republican, and I think it should also be in the Democratic platform, where you would like to see America take the stand of disarmament of the whole world.
This pleased me to a very great extent, and I would like to have you work to that extent and get all women interested in that movement, and perhaps that would end war for all time.
