HULL-HOUSE
335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET
CHICAGO

My dear Miss Sutcliffe

May I assume that we can have the use of the College buildings for our summer school this year as usual? In case we [may?] will you kindly have the housekeeper send us a list of the linen required and also have her state the dates most convenient for her house cleaning plans?

I have meant to write you in regard to the endowment plan and explain my regret [page 2] that the constant necessity to raise money for Hull-House makes it practically impossible for me to undertake other things. Indeed I find that people rather resent it when I do, I have just had a little experience of that sort in trying to help the Chicago Commons of which I am a trustee. However I hope to see you in June and we can then talk things over more fully. Faithfully yours

Jane Addams
