Dear Miss Addams: --
Enclosed find copy of the resolution unanimously adopted at Abraham Lincoln [Centre] last Sunday night. We had a very satisfactory and successful meeting. I would like very much to talk matters over with you some time soon. I am thinking somewhat of going to Washington, but I will be here for a few days.
I have been asked to speak on the north side with Ex-governor Dunne and Mr. Arnold, next Tuesday night. I have tentatively accepted. I didn't know I was going to be turned into a "campaign orator" by my interest in this movement.
Sincerely yours,
S O Levinson [signed]
Miss Jane Addams,
