My dear Mr. Kellogg:

Miss Balch has, I think, a position with The Nation beginning next fall. Mr. Villard wants her to handle some of the international material which comes there.

Of course, we always want her to do things for the Woman's Peace Party as she has done so [valiantly] from the beginning. I hope to see her some time during the summer and perhaps we can make a more formal arrangement. I am sure you know I appreciate your suggestion and am always grateful for your interest and help.

I am eager to see you and hear firsthand of your European experience.

With congratulations to Mrs. Kellogg and yourself upon the arrival of your daughter, I am,

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
