My dear Mr. Kellogg

I had not yet arrived when Mrs Bowen wrote to you about her Survey donation, but I am not sure I could have influenced her. She feels very strongly about the war -- both of her boys have enlisted. Perhaps we can do something for another year! [page 2]

I saw the Quakers in Phila. last week & also some people in Washington who gave me food for thought. I want to talk to you about [them] some time. How about Mr. Hull's article? I do wish The Survey might print it.
