My dear Mrs. Simkhovitch:

I am so sorry that I shall not be able to attend the dinner on January 29th.

I expect to go abroad next summer so shall not be able to attend the National Conference. By another year I trust that I may be able to be of some use to the Federation of Settlements. At present, I can only extend my very best wishes and congratulations on such a good president.
