WOMAN'S PEACE PARTY
OF NEW YORK CITY

HEADQUARTERS: 70 FIFTH AVENUE

November 22, 1916.

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

Would it not be a good idea for you and Mrs. Catt to send a cablegram to the women of Australia congratulating them upon their vote against conscription? We are so eager to have this done that we will gladly pay the cost and attend to the details of sending and of publicity, if you care to have us do it.

I think it would be well to get it off as soon as the final vote is announced when the soldiers' vote has been recorded.

Sincerely yours,

Crystal Eastman [signed]
