Biographical Text

Solomon was the founder of the National Council of Jewish Women. She and the NCJW worked with Jane Addams to forward the settlement house movement.

Solomon married Henry Solomon in 1879. The couple had three children: Herbert, Helen, and Frank. Solomon died in 1942
