My dear Mrs. Claxton:

Your letter of February 23rd addressed to Miss Addams has been referred to me and I take great pleasure in sending to Mrs. J. J. Van [Ness] of Nashville, Tennessee, some material on the peace movement.

I am also writing her that if there are any special phases of the situation in which she is interested, we will be very glad to furnish her with any additional material on that line.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Mrs. P. P. Claxton,
Bureau of Education,
Washington, D.C.
