Dear Mme Schwimmer

I hope to see you before we get there, but in case we miss each other I am [enclosing?] part of a letter from Miss Balch which I ought to have read yesterday to cheer Dr Jacobs.

I was too [tired] last night to think of Thos. Cook & Son -- you ought to get your California tickets through him, he gives you a choice of routes & does not take a commission.
