Darling--

You have had an exciting time as your telegram related, but after all every thing is a subject of rejoicing except the mumps and that is not serious.

The Conference is over and [page 2] ended very well last night as I passed the gavel over to Homer Folks the next Prest. I am feeling fine and would never have planned for Grand Detour if I had known that I would be so well, however two days sleep won't be a bad thing. I will go on to New Haven the day before Commencement, will [page 3] stay at Prof Farnam's and come back again to Chicago, then we will likely start out together when you think best.

Bless you Dear. Always yrs
