The article in The Ladies Home Journal was written especially for Mr. Bok's travel readers.

I called it "The Franchise for Women and the Preservation of the Home" and was quite disappointed to have Mr. Bok change the title.

If you think the article is not [page 2] too simple to be of any use to college women I should, of course, be very glad to have it used. I think the only other paper I have written on suffrage was used in such large portions in Newer Ideals of Peace that it could not be reprinted.
