My dear Mr. Wallas: --

I have just finished reading "Human Nature and Politics" with the keenest interest and pleasure. It explores and formulates whole regions of experience which I have never seen dealt with before. I wish you might carry on a series of studies in Chicago. 

I have given two copies of the book to members of the Municipal Voters League, one of whom, I am sure, could have been saved many mistakes could he have read the book five years ago.
