Thank you so much for Miss Macmillans letter. Miss Balch and I are getting out a referendum vote for the International Committee, so that it was most timely.

Will you please tell Mr Illsley that I will be out of town in Sept. [&] Perhaps Miss Breckinridge who has gone into the literature quite thoroughly would represent us in the proposed Conference. Hastily yours
