My dear Mr. Keppel: --
I have just written to Mr. Haskell, expressing our gratitude for the generous arrangement made by the Executive Committee, and [consenting], of course, to the arrangements, as stated in his letter.
May I also assure you of our appreciation in the appointment of Mrs. Thomas as Organizer. She is [today] in St. Paul and Minneapolis, and reports some splendid meetings in the South.
May I express to you my appreciation of your able presentation of our cause before the members of the Committee, and assure you of our intention to do everything possible to make the generous appropriation count for the cause.
