Mary Southern Jennings to To Whom it May Concern, November 1913

To Whom it may concern.

Mabel Preston Hall is a very dear and good friend of mine, whom I've known for the last two and a half years. She is a conscientious, hard working student, has a beautiful voice, and if she is able to continue her [page 2] studies has a splendid career ahead. My work, as the wife of the American minister takes me among many students but few of them deserve the help and real encouragement as much as my friend Mabel Hall. We are all interested [page 3] in her, and watch her work with sincere concern. I shall feel very proud of her in the not distant future, when her voice will receive the recognition it deserves. Her Friend,

Mary Southern Jennings

Wilhelm Str. 40 Munich.
