My dear Mrs Barrows
May I thank you and your daughter for the pictures and the other fine presents which have come to us, as well as for your last kind letter so full of interesting items.
I am so glad that the Greeks have decided to go to New York. I am sure that the play will be successful. I shall certainly hope to see you later when I am in [page 2] New York in March and if a night can be arranged for a visit, you know how happy I shall be to come. With all good wishes and love to the other lady. Yours affectionately
