Dear Miss Addams: --

Don't you think it best to get advice in Chicago on how to invest the Lauterbach money? If you would like me to have a St. Louis broker express an opinion on your choice of bonds, I will gladly have that done and assume my share of responsibility in the matter.

It might be well to keep one or two thousand dollars in a savings account [page 2] to draw on in case of an emergency. You get 4% on all money left in for a year.

Devotedly

Florence G. Taussig.
