My dear Mrs Taussig

I think Dr Taussig suggestions were fine and I have of course [acted] upon it as you see by the [enclosed] list. This leaves us a goodly amount in the savings bank but as you see at only 3%. I have taken [out] a box at the Northern Trust Co. [in?] your name and mine as those permitted to open it. Will you sign the [enclosed] slip --it looks as if we would have [money?] doesn't it.

P.S. The Nobel prize people have asked for the [enclosed] material -- no good in my opinion!
