September 9, 1926.

My dear Madame Ramondt,

I am enclosing a letter of thanks for your charming birthday present and so I will start this sheet on a purely business basis.

1. As you see by the enclosed statement which I have sent wrapped up in one of yours, the balance has come from Dublin as well as a small bill from Dublin so that we are now, I think, quite correct in every particular. I paid in to the Congress Fund one hundred and fifty dollars more, one hundred was given to Miss Widegren, (she had heard from Sweden that both ladies had come to the Congress) and fifty for the amount sent to Mrs. Cederfeld. I have indicated those changes on the account itself. I am sure that it is absolutely correct and as you see we have not changed any of your figures, save those [indicated] by the increased bills and the change in balance.

2. Miss Thomas is coming in today or tomorrow for the Summer School account and I will send you a copy of those as soon as I have gone over them.

3. The five hundred dollars from October we have counted as an extra fund and it stands as you put it in the Congress receipts: "From Geneva W.I.L. Funds, £83.6.8."

I am sure that as Financial Secretary you can have a perfectly good conscience. You worked hard on your accounts and they have come out extremely well.

Affectionately yours,
