JANE ADDAMS IS SCORED BY MRS. DAWES
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Nov 12. -- Mrs. Rufus C. Dawes of Evanston, Ill., chairman of the international relations committee of the National Federation of Women's Clubs, severely scored Miss Jane Addams of Chicago and the activities of the Women's International Society for Peace and Freedom with which she said Miss Addams is affiliated, in an address here today.
Mrs. Dawes, appearing at an Armistice Day program of the Grand Rapids Federation of Women's Clubs warned her audience against peace societies "with communistic tendencies."
"I speak freely," she said, "because Miss Addams herself does not conceal the fact that she does not believe in our ideas of American loyalty."
