Dear Miss Addams:

I am in receipt of your letter of October 14th and note that your figures of receipts for the Barnett Memorial Fund agree with mine with the exception that you have no record of the subscription of $5.00 from Mary Birine. I do not know from what source this subscription came, but it was received by me as stated in my earlier letter. The subscriber's address is care of the Music School Settlement, #55 East 3rd St., New York City.

I am today in receipt of subscription received through you from Miss Frances R. Morse, Boston, for $50.00, and have received direct a subscription of $1.00 from A. Z. Pittler, #1835 Center Ave., Pittsburgh.
