My Dear Friend.
Some few weeks ago I wrote you a letter to thank you for the interest you were taking in my daughter during the time she was able to spend in your City, and this morning I have a further letter in which she tells me of the great kindnesses you showed her. I am sure she will have personally expressed her gratitude to you for all you did, but I feel I must send you an additional letter to tell you how deeply indebted I feel. For you to have gone to the trouble, and an expenditure of your valuable time, to assure her seeing so much of the Settlement and other work, is a matter of deep appreciation to me, and I am sure the information she obtained will be assistance to her in the days to come.
Again, please accept my heartfelt thanks and be assured of my prayers and best wishes for the great work in which you are engaged.
Yours sincerely.
