CHICAGO
June 2, 1927.
My dear Mrs. Catt,
I seem to have unwittingly slammed one of the precious D.A.R.'s yesterday, so in the interests of sheer honesty I am sending you this clipping from the morning Tribune.
I am also sending the proposals of policies made in Cleveland, marking the one which has made us by far the most trouble with the American Legion.
Hoping I am not boring you to extinction, I am
Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams. [signed]
