Miss Jane Addams,
800 South Halsted Street,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Madam:

We acknowledge receipt this morning by mail of the report of the Dublin Congress. Miss Emily Greene Balch of Wellesley, Mass., very kindly called at our office the early part of this week, and we had a very satisfactory interview. We have just learned that Madame Cor. Ramondt-Hirschmann, Recording and Financial Secretary of the League succeeded Miss Balch, whose title was Secretary and Treasurer. Miss Balch also wrote to Madame Ramondt-Hirschmann from our office and we are going to obtain certified copies of the minutes of the Executive Committee appointing Madame Ramondt-Hirschmann Recording and Financial Secretary and are preparing affidavits which will set forth the duties and functions of Madame Ramondt-Hirschmann's office. Most likely we will be obliged to prepare an affidavit in this matter for your signature, which we will forward at a later date.

Very truly yours,

Alexander & Keenan [signed]
