In her recent frank, straightforward and supernaturally solemn letter to this old palladium of liberty Inez Haynes Irwin seems completely to have cleared her skirts and shoulder straps and everything of the charges of Communism brought against her by the Daughters of the American Revolution but we suppose when the Daughters feel like having a good nervous time they can always fall back on those desperate two-gun men, Jane Addams and Florence Allen.
