WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

Hull-House, Chicago.
May 10, 1927.

My dear Miss Lee,

The enclosed Manifesto to the women in China was passed by the International Board in a Meeting held at Liège, Belgium, March 19th. I have sent a copy of it to Mrs. Grover Clark, whose husband edits the Peking Leader in Peking, also one to my friend Mrs. Zen of Peking and am now sending one to you. I shall be very grateful for anything you can do in the way of sending it to a large number of Chinese women.

I recall with much pleasure our visit with you in Nanking and I hope sometime I shall have the pleasure of seeing you again.

Faithfully yours,

Miss Lee,
Dean of Women,
National University,
Nanking, China.
