WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

March 8" 1927 Biloxi Miss

My dear Mr Kennedy --

I still can't understand how Mrs Barnett, Mr Mallon and the others quite forgot the conversation in Mrs Barnett's drawing room upon which the whole Barnett fellowship plan in the U.S.A. [was] formed, but they all did forget it apparently.

I was on my way around the world when we met and nothing was done until a [page 2] year later but there must have been minutes of the meeting, they were all very much pleased with the suggestion. However we seem to be coming out very well but I am so sorry for the contretemps.

Always, faithfully yours

Jane Addams
