Dear Sir: --

I have your note and enclosure of Jany 25th. I have not many of the Spider Web diagram; which was prepared during a discussion of the activities of Miss Jane Addams, for use in connection with a book I had written called "Social Justice," and not for wide dissemination. In connection with the Nicaragua matter I thought to send a copy of it to all members of Congress and Senators; which seems to result in many inquiries like your own. Should wider demand develop I can perhaps print more, and distribute them at cost. The 16 cents postage you enclose just about covers the pro rata cost of those you want, and I have pleasure in sending 6 copies herewith. How did you hear of the diagram?

If you could assist me in distributing the book in question, also at manufacturing and mailing cost of $1. plus postage from Boston, you would help me in an attempt to do a public service in educating against socialism.

Faithfully yours,

C. N. Fay [signed]
