Dear Mr. Chandler:

Thank you for including Mrs. Ewing and myself in the list of your committee.

We are very glad that this is being done and esteem it an honor to be included in your list. Our only regret is that we cannot be there to personally join in doing honor to Miss Addams.

I am forwarding the acceptance card to Miss Sears today, and, if there is any expense connected with the affair aside from those who are present, I shall be glad to share in it.
