My dear Miss Addams,

I want to add my word to the splendid tributes paid you last evening.

It is my claim that better than any one else, I know how [perfectly] Dr. Ochsner deserved every fine and beautiful [page 2] word ever said about him -- and so I also know that the friends who are closest to you know infinitely better than others can -- how the half can never be said that is your due.
