WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM
November 18, 1926.
My dear Dorothy Detzer,
I thank you very much for your kind letter re the Journal article.
We are getting together some material which we will use later. Could you kindly write out your experiences with the American Legion at Sioux City and let me have it with whatever proofs you may possess with regard to the particular military men who seem responsible for the material ↑sent to them↓. I should be very grateful for it even if we find we may not need to use it. We will not bring a ↑libel↓ liable suit, although I admit there are many pros and cons in regard to it.
I am sorry I missed your brother ↑but↓ I got a glimpse of your mother this morning ↑looking very well!↓
Hastily yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
