My dear Mr. Graves:

I hope the enclosed circular will answer your purpose. We have been obliged to reduce the sum from $10,000 to $6,000, the latter housing only fifteen people, but Mr. Rosenwald's generous contribution changes the aspect of the whole thing, and we are getting new bids.

May I write you again when the final plan is settled.
