WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

Hull-House, Chicago,
June 29, 1925

My dear Dorothy Detzer:

I have written about this matter directly to Mrs. Hull. She had already been in communication with Mr. Bettman but I am sending a copy of the telegram to be placed on file.

I am very grateful for the list of the Board members with their addresses. I have acknowledged the enclosed letter and material from Mde. Tunas [↑but↓] I am sending it to you in case you wish to correct your files with it. But I shall have to ask to have it returned to me. I am sure the Washington office understands that all the money for the U.S.A. International members is sent to me in Chicago and sent by me at the rate of $500 per month to the Geneva office. I am sure Miss Surles has it quite clearly in mind.

Is there any arrangement made for reminding the International members when their next years fees are due? My address during the summer is Hulls Cove, Maine. I am leaving for there on Wednesday.

Affectionately yours,

Jane Addams [signed]

↑P.S. Please excuse this jumpy and much interrupted letter.
