Jane Addams Looks To Women To Prevent Further Hostilities

(Special to the Evening Report)

London, Sept. 16. --  "Women have a far better sense of appreciation of reconciliation than men; therefore, I look forward to the women of Ireland and England to prevent any more wars between the two countries," said Jane Addams, of Hull-house, Chicago, today in commenting on the [de Valera]-[Lloyd-George] peace negotiations.

"Men appear unable to do so," she said.
