My dear Miss Addams:
You may recall that there was a small balance of $35.87 of the Averbuch fund left in my hands. This fund has been accumulating interest in the savings bank and now amounts to $37.57. I can see no good reason why I should continue to hold this fund and I suggest that I turn it over to you to be used by you in such manner as you may wish. The fund came from several sources and I have no doubt that the contributors would approve of such a disposition of it as I propose.
If my suggestion that this money be turned over to you meets with your approval, please advise me to that effect and I will send you my check at once.
Sincerely yours,
