"NO MORE WAR" INTERNATIONAL DEMONSTRATIONS
6/4/22.
Dear Miss Addams
I feel I must write and say that I have arrived home safely and already my visit to America begins to seem far away. I am very busy [organizing] the No More War Procession & Demonstration in Manchester which promises to be a great success.
Things here are a little brighter than when I left -- trade is reviving just a little and people are not quite so depressed as when I left in [page 2] April.
I am hoping to hear from Mr [Feakins] one of these days just when my first engagement is fixed -- I shall have to make enquiries about a berth soon.
I see from the Bulletin of the Nation Council for Reduction of Armaments that the International [Lyceum] & Chautauqua Association is holding a Conference in Chicago on Sept. 13-15 on Public Opinion and World Peace. I wish I could have been present.
With kind regards and warm memories of all your kindness,
Annot Robinson
