A LIKENESS.

Miss Jane Addams said in a settlement address in Chicago:

"I have noticed that the happiest households are those where the husband and father stays home at night.

"A Chicago man once said to his wife:

"'Hang it, my cigar's out. It spoils a cigar to let it go out, you know.'

"'A cigar's a good deal like a husband, then,' his wife answered."
