My dear Mr [Robins]

I think that it would be better to give up the investigation of the Plumbing changes.  I am much obliged to you [for] what you have done. May I ask another favor. Will you write to the Boards of Health at N.Y. Boston, Washington, Phila, St Louis Minneapolis—as to their regulation and enforcement of the placarding of contagious diseases. It would be better to have this done by the Sec'y of the City Homes Ass'n than by Hull-House [page 2] and it would be most useful [for?] the affair of June 2d.

Thanking you for all your trouble in the matter and [aspire?] to see you Monday at four o'clock at the Bureau of Charities, I am faithfully yours
