Dear friend:
I am very glad to have your telegram stating that you can be in Philadelphia for a public meeting on September 24th. The regular meeting of the Service Committee comes on Thursday afternoon, the 25th. We felt that there would not be sufficient time for you to make a full report of your trip to Germany at the meeting on Thursday and so planned another meeting. We purpose to make this a public meeting and hope to have a good audience for you. We are not yet definitely decided, but it is likely that the meeting will be held in the Meeting House at 15th & Cherry Streets, as this will provide for a larger group than any other of our Meeting Houses. I trust you will plan to stay over and attend the meeting on the 25th and help us decide what kind of work we can do for Germany.
Yours sincerely,
Executive Secretary.
