My dear Miss Balch:

You see by the enclosed material that the thirty-five meet in New York on the twenty-fourth. As you cannot come to Boston and Mrs. Mead is coming to New York for the twenty-fourth, we hope to hold the Board meeting on Saturday, the twenty-third, in New York. If this is possible for you, will you kindly let us know at once. Mrs. Leach has offered her house for a meeting of the Board so you will not need to be troubled about that.
