My dear Mrs. Kohn:
I have tried awfully hard to find a place for the Riesen boy. I thought once that we had landed him on the West side, but the people were later afraid to take him. Apparently the second arrest scares people off.
It seems miserable not to be able to give him another chance and I am hoping that the one or two places still to be heard from may offer something, but I am getting very dubious.
Clara Landsberg has been here a day or two and we go up to Mackinac together tomorrow.
