Mr. Frederick Moore, Editor,
Books and Authors, 318 West 39th St.,
My dear Mr. Moore:
In your issue of July, 1917, under the caption "Ten Minutes with the Editor," I find an editorial in reference to Miss Jane Addams, in which a statement which seems to be intended for an exact quotation from the speech recently delivered by Miss Addams in Chicago, is given.
I am taking the liberty of sending a copy of this speech which was reprinted by the City Club of Chicago as the quotation is not accurate and I am sure you would not wish to [misquote] Miss Addams.
Sincerely yours,
