Biographical Text

Albert Edward Winship began his career as a pastor in Somerville, MA. Extremely interested in education, he went on to teach at Bridgewater Normal School. Winship then worked as a principal of a grammar school in Newton, MA. He later became editor of Journal of Education and crossed the country dozens of times lecturing on the subject of teaching. Winship died in 1933.

Winship married Ella R. Parker in 1870. They had six children.
