Biographical Text

Helen Jones was a musician, composer, and activist. Married to the Mayor of Toledo, Jones was an active member of the Toledo Women's Club and established Beach House, a shelter for homeless women, named after her mother. Jones died in 1940.

Jones married Samuel M. Jones in 1893. They had one child together.
