My dear Miss Addams:

Two ballots have been received since you left Chicago, one from Holland and one from Australia. The Australian ballot is for the meeting in the first week in June in Amsterdam. The Dutch ballot for the first week in July in Amsterdam. The Dutch ballot registers "No" on the question of the addition of three alternates-at-large to serve in the Board Headquarters in the absence of the regular members, and registers a choice for Thora Daugaard as a seventh member of the Board and Vilma [Gl├╝cklich] for the Second Vice-Chairman.

The Australian ballot is for Lida G. Heymann as Second Vice-Chairman, Emily G. Balch as the seventh member of the Board and approves the addition of the three alternates-at-large.

These ballots have been filed, together with those received earlier.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Jane Addams,
Oakland, Sarasota County,
Florida.
