HOTELS STATLER

DETROIT

1916, July 31.  Noon.

Dear Mr. Ford,

I come from Europe to report something important to you.

Anxious to [return] to my duties in Europe I must see you [immediately].  It would be most convenient to meet in the Statler, but I am ready to go either to Dearborn or to the factory.

I send this note at the same time both to your office and your home.

Cordially yours:
