Description

The papers of Williams, a Congregational minister and political activist in St. Paul, Minnesota (1918-1954) and in Butte, Montana (1955-1964), primarily document his career in third-party and other political organizations from 1929 to 1970. As well as his personal and official correspondence, there are press releases, clippings, minutes of meetings, financial statements, membership records, political conference materials, speeches and articles, and scrapbooks. Also includes family correspondence; diaries; and lecture and sermon notes.
